We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated team players to join our busy Business Support Team. You will play a critical role in supporting social work teams to meet the outcomes they want to achieve.
You will have the opportunity to;
• Work in a forward-thinking Council and within teams that have clear, shared values
• Work with a range of social work teams providing support and helping to ensure they deliver the best services possible
• Manage a small team of Business Support staff, while receiving support from our proactive and knowledgeable management team
• Lead on a specific Business Support Function, developing knowledge and expertise in line with legislation, guidance, council policy and good practice.
• Enhance your Business Administration skills, with access to needs driven training, and a focus on personal development to ensure modern and effective business processes are developed to support the whole service
You will have:
• NVQ Level 3 in business administration, or equivalent experience
• Experience of supervising, mentoring and supporting staff
• Effective communication skills
• A commitment to improving service delivery
