Summary
The Assistant Clinical Psychologist will support our triage of referrals that are received into the service and ensure they are directed towards the most appropriate pathway. They will also prepare case summaries and collate information for MDT discussion and for one-to-one interventions and appointments. They can provide guided self-help and low-level therapeutic interventions (under supervision). There may be an opportunity to be involved in delivery of self-help workshops to service users on our waiting list. They may also be involved in audit and evaluation e.g of referral pathways, and/or of the implementation of our complexity model. The Assistant Clinical Psychologist will need to work independently according to an agreed plan and within the overall framework of the trust's policies and procedures. They would be expected to participate in relevant continuing professional development and attend regular clinical supervision. They will work within the overall framework of the services policies and procedures. We are a national service and as such, some of our appointments are offered via the NHS Attend Anywhere platform. There may be some flexibility to work from home one day a week by agreement after induction is completed.
