Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Meat Food Packer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging meat products in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong work ethic are essential in this role.
Pack and label various meat products (e.g., beef, pork, chicken) in compliance with food safety standards.
Ensure proper weight, size, and quality of packaged items.
Follow safety protocols and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure product quality.
Operate packaging machinery (e.g., vacuum sealers, wrapping machines) and ensure proper functioning.
Inspect products for defects, foreign objects, or damage before packing.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
Monitor packaging materials and request supplies as needed.
Assist with loading and unloading products onto pallets, vehicles and storage areas.
Comply with all company policies and regulatory standards related to food handling and safety.
Report any issues or discrepancies in product quality or packaging to the supervisor
