Summary
Do you have experience with import and export legislation?
Are you confident working on project based, logistics role - as the sole logistics coordinator for large, high value material?
Have you project managed and implemented processes to improve efficiency?
We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced logistics professional, in Arbroath on a temporary basis with the potential to move to a permanent contract.
Working full time M-F, with an early finish every Friday!
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Import and export paperwork
- Logistic planning from day 1 with the project management team to ensure delivery in full and on time
- Customer liaison
- Reviewing and implementing new processes and procedures
- Potential to support sourcing and implementing a new system
- Internal stakeholder management
- Proactive approach to gathering information required for shipping and logistics
- Working closely with the supply chain manager to update on shipping and logistics status
- Point of contact for freight operators
What you'll come with:
- Experience across import and export legislation, China, US and EU highly desirable
- Confident and proactive nature
- High attention to detail
- Ability to look at processes and procedures and improve where required
