Pay rate: £13.13 per hourAre you passionate about making a difference to someones life?
“I am due to move into my own home for the very first time which is a huge milestone in my life, and I am looking for the right staff to support and enable me to live my life to the fullest.
I have a very busy weekly schedule which I love, and I am looking for someone that can support me throughout all of my activities. I attend day centre on a Friday and love going swimming with my friends from my day centre group so I will need someone to support me in the pool. I partake in exercise classes and attend the weekly Disco at another local hub. Due to my busy schedule, it is essential that you are able to drive my Motability car and willing to participate in my activities with me in my wheelchair. I love attending the theatre and pantomimes, enjoying live music, as well as visiting the library to look at books and use the computers. I am also up for new activities like going ice-skating in my wheelchair!
My Christian faith is the most important area of my life. I attend twice a week, once at church on a Sunday morning service and a midweek homegroup - being a member of my local, dynamic and vibrant church is important to me. This may also include additional events held by the Church such as picnic's in the park, ten pin bowling and shared lunches. I will need the right person to support me and encourage me with these activities.
I am a very social person, I love seeing my friends and family. I am looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, enjoys being out, is confident, and experienced in their ability with a sense of calmness about them.
If you feel we would be a good fit, please submit an application!”
