Hours: Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm
Pay rate : £15.88 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of cleaning operatives. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily operational supervision of the cleaning team under the Site Manager's guidance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including COSHH regulations.
- Schedule and manage work shifts and absence cover for the team.
- Conduct quality audits, performance appraisals, and training for team members.
- Manage stock and equipment replenishment in liaison with the Site Manager.
- Undertake and supervise cleaning duties, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Secure the premises at the end of cleaning sessions, including setting alarms.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory cleaning role.
- Familiarity with current cleaning industry best practices, methods, products, and equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to upholding the values of the school.
