Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary:
A Home Support Worker plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals by providing essential care in their homes. This position is dedicated to helping clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life through personal care, household tasks, companionship, and other daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with mobility and transportation for appointments or social outings
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report concerns to supervisors
Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous experience preferred but not essential
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
Working Conditions:
• Required to work alternate weekends, with possible evening shifts
• Work is primarily conducted in clients' homes
