Summary
We are a growing nursing home group undertaking building extension and general maintenance work across several sites. We’re currently seeking full-time Handyman / Labourer staff to join our in-house team on a long-term basis.
You’ll support building activities, small repairs, and general upkeep—essential to keeping our homes safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist with ongoing building extension projects
Carry out general labouring and site clean-up
Support tradespeople with materials, prep work, and basic tasks
Perform minor handyman jobs such as repairs, fittings, and installations
Move, store, and handle materials safely on site
Ensure workspaces are tidy and hazard-free, especially around residents
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, occasional weekends if needed)
Experience in labouring, building maintenance, or handyman work
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Good physical condition – lifting and manual work required
Punctual, dependable, and respectful—especially in live care environments
Basic tools and PPE (boots, gloves, hi-vis vest)
Preferred but Not Essential:
CSCS card
Bricklaying, basic plumbing, plastering, or carpentry experience
Driving licence
Previous work in care home or hospital settings
