Summary
As the Applications Development Higher Executive Officer (HEO), your main responsibilities will include:
Lead the analysis of existing processes; gather requirements, design and develop; test and release Digital Solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps; Power Automate; Dataverse) and Microsoft Office 365, engaging with Business Process Owners and key stakeholders throughout
Lead the development of team member skills on digitisation projects including Microsoft 365 Apps and the Microsoft Power Platform. Embed a pro-active and innovative approach to personal development and training needs within the Apps Dev team, by developing team knowledge and keeping informed of IT advancements
Lead with the development and implementation of new digital ways of working, improving the delivery of Army Career Management. Further developing a capability for the development of PowerApps to achieve aims of digitisation of processes and outputs
Lead regular stakeholder engagement and proactively horizon scan for future change and its impact on HQMS & APC staff in their use of MODNET, Microsoft Office 365 products and other ICT systems
Lead the exploitation of available technology, thereby enabling digital transformation in line with MS's intent to be Digital by Default
Set the direction and define the HQMS & APC development priorities through discussion with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Optimisation team
Leading Power Platform development discussions with Army Info IX and Microsoft Power Platform development teams, using own knowledge and learned understanding to progress HQMS & APC Power Platform development capability
