Summary

We are recruiting for a fire door surveyor to join our client, a leading provider of passive fire protection services across the UK, committed to safety, compliance, and excellence. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Fire Door Surveyor to join their team in the Manchester area.

The Role:
As a Fire Door Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed fire door inspections and condition surveys across a range of residential and commercial properties. You’ll ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations, producing clear, accurate reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting fire door inspections in accordance with relevant British Standards and regulations Assessing fire doors for compliance, functionality, and wear/damage

  
  

• Creating detailed survey reports with photographic evidence and repair recommendations

  
  

• Liaising with clients, site managers, and compliance teams

  
  

• Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice

  
  

  What is Required?

  • Experience in surveying and inspecting fire doors

    
    

  • Strong knowledge of fire door compliance and regulations

    
    

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FDIS, BRE, or BM TRADA)

    
    

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
