An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Key Stage 2 team. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire and challenge pupils, helping them to reach their full potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback and support.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to promote high standards of teaching and learning.
Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and contribute to termly reports.
Uphold the values and policies of the school and contribute to the wider school community.
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2.
A thorough understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment expectations.
A commitment to high expectations and achievement for all pupils.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
A reflective approach to teaching and a willingness to engage in professional development.
