Summary
We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning Housing Association based in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a Painter & Decorator on a rolling temporary basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Cardiff, with a range of different benefits including a company van and a competitive hourly rate of up to £23.00 on a CIS basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Social Housing, have a basic DBS and be within a commutable distance of Cardiff.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out all aspects of internal and external painting, decorating, and finishing work across tenanted and void properties
- Preparing surfaces for decoration including filling, sanding, stripping wallpaper, and priming surfaces
- Applying a range of finishes including emulsion, gloss, satin, undercoats, varnishes, and specialist paints as required
- Hanging wallpaper and other wall coverings to high standards where applicable
- Ensuring all works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a professional standard in line with health & safety regulations
- Identifying and report any repair issues, safeguarding concerns, or property condition risks encountered during visits
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Utilizing a PDA system

Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm
