Summary
TIME SERVED, FABRICATOR - WELDER
Acer Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic person with a minimum of 5 years time served experience to join our production team. The position will be based at our workshop based in Widnes, however there will be opportunities for you to work on site from time to time.
The ideal candidate for this role will need to be able to carry out the following tasks:
· Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
· Previous experience with the fabrication of secondary steelwork such as ladders, platforms, staircases etc.
· MIG welding experience is a must, however, TIG and MMA will be positively considered.
· Be able to work on their own and with others.
· Work under pressure and be responsive to change.
