Summary
We are pleased to welcome applications for a Locum Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatry post in the Hounslow Adolescent Team, West London NHS Trust CAMHS. This is for 6 months in the first instance pending substantive recruitment to a well established post.
Consultant Child Psychiatrist Posts – Locum 10PA’s – 6 months
The West London NHS Trust’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health services have a history of innovation. We are currently embedding Youth Ambassadors in all services to ensure co-production and continue to develop innovative services to enhance the crisis pathway.
Hounslow CAMHS has four specialist community teams - a child and family team, an adolescent team (including EIP), a Neurodevelopmental service and a mental health team for young people with intellectual disability. Trust-wide CAMHS Crisis, Eating Disorder, DBT and Under-5 Services support the core CAMHS offer.
To offer consultant psychiatry input in the Adolescent Team. There is a strong emphasis on medical leadership in our services. Consultants work closely with heads of discipline and managers to deliver excellent assessment and treatment options for children and young people with emphasis on responsive, individually tailored patient-centred delivery of care. There is considerable opportunity for professional growth.
