Summary
Teaching Assistants Required at SEN School in Haywards Heath.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic educational team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of their students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students' learning needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress and contribute to their development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting students' growth and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable, but not essential.
