Urgent Opportunity: SEN Teacher Needed (QTS) in Surrey

Make a difference in the lives of young people at a dynamic and supportive special school in Surrey!

We are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join this close-nit team at an independent special school dedicated to therapeutic and child-centred education. They support students aged 10 to 19 with diverse backgrounds, focusing on those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional SEND such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

About the Role:
  • You will be teaching Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, and GCSE, tailoring lessons to each student's needs.
  • You will contribute to school decision-making and advocate for every child.
  • You'll have the opportunity to develop your passions and interests into the classroom.
Requirements:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching students with SEN
  • Ability to manage complex behaviours with attention, effective communication, consistency, and flexibility
  • Valid driver's license
