Summary
A leading FMCG manufacturer is looking for a Production Operatives/ Machine Operators to in our modern, automated, and clean site in the centre of Gloucester.
PAY: £14.29-32.23 shift dependent
HOURS: Mix of 12 hrs days and nights shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern, however you must be fully flexible to work in line with business requirement.
DURATION: The intitial assignment is until end of August but the right candidate will be invited to work with us on the full pattern in January 2026 or offered an opportunity with our partner site (s).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
* Running machinery/equipment to meet targets
* Quality checking the product
* Collecting data from the line and recording it accurately
* Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
* Packaging the product
* Conducts and adheres to cleaning and allergen control regimes
* Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* National school leaver qualifications in Reading and Comprehension, Writing and Mathematics.
The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience in a Manufacturing/Production role, preferably within the food industry however training will be given.
* Applicant must be a committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail.
* IT Skills- Must be competent in the use of basic software.
