Summary
Activities Coordinator
Activities - Beaumont Manor Care Home
Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40Bring Purpose, Joy and Connection to Every Day!
At Beaumont Manor Care Home, nestled in the beautiful seaside town of Frinton-on-Sea, we believe every day should be rich with meaning, laughter, and moments to treasure. Our home is more than just a place to live – it’s a place to thrive. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an Activities Coordinator who can fill our home with creativity, conversation, and opportunities that bring out the best in every resident. Whether it’s organising a craft afternoon, hosting a tea dance, or arranging a beach stroll just minutes from our front door, this role is about so much more than keeping people busy. It’s about lighting up lives.
We offer:
- £12.21 per hour
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time)
- Paid DBS
- Pension scheme
- Free onsite parking
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
Most importantly, we offer a place where your ideas are heard, your efforts are recognised, and your work makes a real difference.
What You’ll Do
From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll be the heartbeat of our home’s social life. You’ll spend time getting to know our residents not just their names and needs, but their stories, passions, and what makes them smile. Using that knowledge, you’ll shape an activity programme that’s inclusive, engaging, and genuinely meaningful.
Your days will be full of variety. One morning might be spent arranging fresh flowers with residents who used to garden, the afternoon bringing in a local choir to spark memories through music. You’ll work closely with our care and hospitality teams to make sure activities are woven into everyday life never an add-on, always part of who we are.
What You’ll Bring
This role needs someone who naturally brings warmth, patience, and enthusiasm. You don’t need to be an expert in art, music, or fitness but you do need to be open-hearted and imaginative, ready to try new things and include everyone.
You’ll be organised, too. Planning outings, creating monthly calendars, working with external entertainers it all takes coordination and good communication. But most of all, you’ll be someone who believes that everyone, no matter their age or ability, deserves to feel connected and valued.
Why Join Us?
Beaumont Manor is part of Care Concern Group, a family-run care provider with a heart for people both those we support and those we employ. You’ll work in a stunning, modern home by the sea, surrounded by a team who care deeply about what they do.
This is a full-time role with consistent weekday hours a great work-life balance, with the time and space to plan activities properly and build real relationships.
