Summary
About the role of Engineering Manager
You will be working with a growing, regional house builder, based out of their office 3 days a week, and out on site 2 days a week. Currently, they have 6 live sites, located between North Lancashire and Cumbria, which consist of traditional, open market developments.
Responsibilities for Engineering Manager
- Identifying design issues with challenging levels affecting part M regulations etc, visiting the sites to do a report and using CAD in the head office to revise the designs to suit.
- Undertaking the managing of 278 works, highway adoptions etc.
- Oversee day-to-day engineering works on construction sites.
- Enforce health & safety protocols, manage risks, and address any issues promptly.
- Coordination and progress meetings.
Requirements for Engineering Manager
- A proven track record of delivery as a Civils/Engineering Manager within the house building sector.
- Ideally, experience working on challenging sites, with retaining structures.
- Experience using CAD or similar software.
- Relevant industry qualifications and certificates.
