The Whittan Group is the largest manufacturer of steel storage products in the United Kingdom. Operating through a number of
market leading brands; we design, manufacture and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments in the UK
and Europe.
We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our busy and growing organisation. Reporting into the Client Services
Team Leader and based in Hyde, the main function of the role will be to provide our customers with excellent service from order
receipt to supply of materials and/or service through to invoicing within a timely manner, ensuring they are managed successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and prioritise your own workload
* Handle customer service tasks within a busy environment, including POD retrieval, delivery progression and general customer
queries on orders or invoices
* Ensure the customer is responded to in a timely manner
* Understand and action reports (where required)
* Ensure all customer data and documentation is stored correctly and in line with GDPR regulations
* Handle multiple customer orders and queries in progress
* Coordinate, manage and bring together multiple elements of a job/project
* Date manage orders and invoicing information
* Comply with company policies and procedures
* Communicate confidently with internal departments and sales teams plus outside suppliers
Required experience/skills/qualifications:
* Minimum A-C grade Maths and English
* Available on a full time, permanent basis
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
* Excellent data entry skills
* Good Telephone manner, polite and confident
* Team Player
* Good time management skills
* Can multitask and manage/prioritise own workload
Desirable Skills/experience
* Basic knowledge of SAP
* Holds a full and valid UK driving licence
