Primary Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Newham
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Newham to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1/2.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support in EYFS and KS1/2, working with individuals and small groups
* Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy interventions
* Support children with additional learning needs including EAL and SEND
* Help prepare lesson materials and set up activities to encourage active learning
* Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to implement personalised strategies
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working in a primary school or EYFS setting
* Understanding of early learning development and behaviour management strategies
* A calm, caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
* Willingness to learn and take on greater responsibility over time
* An interest in progressing towards a HLTA or specialist support role
