Medical 1:1 Support Assistant
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Salary: £13.68+ per hour
Job Type: Temporary to start, permanent position potential, full-time, term-time only

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for 1:1 support roles? Interested in working closely with a pupil requiring additional support?
Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support to work with a young person with specialist requirements. This role is temporary to start and provides full training with a specialist nurse before you start.
What does the role entail?
- Supporting a young person with both learning and medical needs
- Administering aid where required including support with seizures, learning and everyday needs
- Working closely with class teacher, parents and SENCO where required
- Working five days per week ongoing (could be up to two years)
What are the requirements for this role?
- Previous LSA or Care Support experience is required - skilled or SEN LSA's preferred
- Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant Certification is desired
- Regulated role experience is essential (working with vulnerable people)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required - can be obtained from Reed if needed
- Continuity is essential for this pupil
