For over 25 years, the company has been designing and manufacturing heat exchangers from their purpose-built factory in Hartlepool. Offering rapid turnaround of replacement exchangers using high quality materials as an alternative to the inflexible and expensive original units.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Internal Sales Engineer (Sales Administrator) to join their team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by leveraging your expertise to understand and address customer needs.

You will be responsible for supporting sales efforts, providing basic technical guidance, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

The main sales process is reactive to customer enquiries and processing orders received via email.

The company’s customer base is a mix of both UK and International.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise – Develop an understanding of our products and services, including their technical specifications, features and benefits. Full training will be provided, in bite size modules.
• Customer Engagement – Build strong relationships with customers by actively listening to their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Solution Selling – Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities.
• Technical Support – Provide pre- and post-sale administration support, including troubleshooting, problem solving, with support from the technical department.
• Sales Process – Participate in the entire sales cycle, usually from initial customer enquiry, lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues and customers at all levels.
• Experience in similar office / sales role would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• An open mind and willing to learn.
