Make a real difference with Alcedo Care.
At Alcedo Care, we’re proud of our strong family values and supportive culture. With over 25 branches across the North West, Lakes & Cumbria, Yorkshire, and Wales, we deliver more than a million hours of care every year. Recognised nationally with the Princess Royal Training Award, our award-winning in-house training team — including Registered Nurses — ensures you have the support and skills needed to thrive in your role.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our Liverpool team. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with hands-on care experience who’s ready to step into a supervisory position — or already thriving in one.
The Role
This full-time position offers a varied week, with around 50% in the field delivering care and supporting carers, and 50% office-based focusing on quality, compliance, and care planning. No two days are the same — but every day is meaningful.
Responsibilities include:
• Conducting quality checks and spot checks on care staff
• Supervising, supporting, and mentoring carers in the field
• Carrying out risk assessments and developing tailored care plans
• Ensuring compliance with care regulations and company policies
• Assisting with client assessments and care reviews
• Collaborating with the senior team to ensure high standards of care
• Participating in the on-call rota as required, providing out-of-hours support on a scheduled basis
What We’re Looking For
• Ideally, Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care
• OR 2–3 years of relevant experience in a care or supervisory role
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• A proactive, compassionate attitude and a commitment to high-quality care
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – this is essential
• Flexibility to work across North and South Liverpool as required
• Willingness to take part in on-call duties (with appropriate support and rotation)
Why Join Us?
• Supportive, family-run environment where you’re genuinely valued
• Nationally recognised in-house training and development
• Fully funded NVQs, mentoring and support from our award-winning team
• Mileage allowance provided for travel between visits
• Make a genuine impact in your community
