Summary
Blueprint Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Spray Polisher, to join our client on a full time permanent basis, in Edinburgh.
The company are a leaders in their field, producing for example bespoke doors, skirtings, architraves, fixtures and furnishings for high-end refurbishment projects across the city. The finished products will replicate or compliment the existing fixtures and fittings and the wood - colour matched, so that when fitted looks authentic.
You will be joining a tight group of craftsmen, working for a well known and successful company who are responsible for many high-profile projects. The company are looking for what could be descibed as a 'Traditional French Polisher', using polish and shellac to finish single items - this is not mass produced, repetative everyday products.
As a French Polisher you will already have the following skills and experience:
- A proven background, with a wide experience of spraying/ coating techniques e.g shellac.
- Experience finishing bespoke products to a glass finish.
- A proactive solution provider, able to contribute in a flexible team environment
- Experience of working within a low volume batch environment.
This is a permanent Polisher / Sprayer position offering excellent working conditions and remuneration.
The working hours are 8am - 4.30pm (3.30pm on a Friday) with overtime readily available through busy times.
Rate of pay for this role is £15 - £19 per hour - DoE
