Summary
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils in a vibrant and inclusive primary setting, helping them to achieve their full potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining a positive learning environment
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence
Support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils
Contribute to assessment and progress tracking by providing regular feedback to teachers
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Have experience working with primary-aged pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2
Be adaptable, reliable, and proactive in supporting a range of learning needs
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
Be confident in following instructions and using initiative
Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
