Summary
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join an early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner or confident ECT who is passionate about supporting young children’s development in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
Observe, assess and record progress to inform planning and contribute to learning journals
Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence and curiosity
Ideal Nursery Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years teaching qualification
Have experience teaching in an early years setting
Be creative, nurturing and committed to child-centred learning
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Nursery Teacher.
Be reflective, organised and dedicated to ongoing professional development
