Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 2/3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident Early Career Teacher who is eager to make a meaningful difference in a mixed-age class setting. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of both Year 2 and Year 3 pupils
Differentiate effectively to support a wide range of learning abilities
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters independence and curiosity
Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor and support pupil progress
Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Lower Key Stage 2
Be confident managing the challenges and opportunities of a mixed-age class
Demonstrate excellent classroom management, organisation and communication skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.
Be reflective, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional development
