Summary
G R Employment Ltd are looking for Ramp agent on behalf of one of our customer whom are a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics, the postion is based in stanstead airport. This is a temporary placement but for the right canadiate could go permanaent,
The Ramp Agent is a hands-on role, you will be overseeing loading and unloading of aircraft, coordinating container allocatiosn, conducting dangerours good checks, data entering onto varoius systems and compilling report

Precise and careful handling of shipments
Working to tight timeframes and deadlines
Demonstrating excellent teamwork
Shifts Available:
Monday to Friday 8pm to 6am with a rotating Friday and Saturday night shift
Monday to Thursday 11pm to 9am and Friday 11pm to 6am with a rotating Friday and Saturday night shift
Hourly Rate: £14.69 per hour
Job Responsibilities
To provide administrative and operational tasks.
Respond to all queries in accordance with company standards
Deal with 3rd party shipper in a professional manner.
Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.
Use computer systems with numerous applications to ensure work completed in accordance with company requirements.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required
Job Qualifications
Experience in aviation or ramp handling would be an advantage but not essential
understanding of aircraft loading procedures advantage but not essential
Knowledge of AS400 Hub systtem AHS and standard flagging procesures advantage but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Good interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills
Security training will be given when required
