Summary

South Gloucestershire | 12+ Months | Monday to Friday

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Ganger to lead a small 3-person gang on a long-term infrastructure project focused on the construction of new cycle paths.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Ganger or leading small civils teams

  • Valid SSSTS certification (Essential)

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Access to a 3.5-tonne tipper vehicle

  • Confident operating small tools and light plant (e.g. breakers, disc cutters, compactors)

  • Experience using Cat & Genny (with up-to-date calibration certificates)

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Duties Will Include:
  • Leading daily groundworks for cycle path construction

  • Delegating tasks and overseeing the productivity of your team

  • Ensuring safe use and maintenance of tools and plant

  • Liaising with site supervisors and local authority reps

  • Managing on-site logistics and maintaining site standards
