• A key component of this role requires the post holder to develop and promote pro-active/preventative wellbeing packages of care, focused on the prevention of emotional distress, not just treating it. This will involve a range of strategies such as wellbeing workshops, supporting departments which require specific support & intervention, and the development of emotional resilience across the Trust.
• The post holder works autonomously with professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. They will receive CBT Clinical Supervision from an experienced therapist, in line with BABCP minimum standards. If the post holder is not accredited through BABCP, this will be encouraged and supported by their Clinical Supervisor.
• This post will support the lead Psychotherapist in providing an environment where every staff member has the access to evidenced based therapies, alongside pro-active wellbeing support.
• To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
