The Role:
Our Retirement Housing with Meals service, Broomfield Gardens in Airdrie, is looking for the right person to prepare, cook and serve healthy, nutritious dishes and be responsible for menu planning, food purchase and the provision of high-quality meals and snacks for residents in a care setting.

You will:
*ensure that all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and external regulators are met
*consult with your customers to ensure individual dietary needs are met.


Hours: 14 per week
Days: Sunday and Monday

Role Requirements:

experience of delivering a high standard of meal service
an understanding of nutritional and dietary requirements of older people
an intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent is desirable.

*Cook hourly rate is £13.20 (£24,018 per annum FTE)
*excellent holidays of up to 34 days each year (pro rata for part-time employees)
