Summary
G R Employment Ltd are looking for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Stoke-on-Trent, the correct candiate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from the customers. The Courier role is key to ensuring that the company principles and ethos are demonstrated at all times, ensuring that the service provided to customers is delivered with speed, passion and a can-do attitude. You will be expected to achieve excellent customer service which requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure,
The working shift is Monday to Friday 08:00 start this position is to provide relief cover for the couriers, this is a temporary placement however for the right candidate this position could go permanent.
Job Responsibilities
As a Courier Driver, you will be measured on customer satisfaction and the successful completion of time-definite deliveries and collections. As a frontline representative of the company, you are expected to carry out all tasks with a strong customer-focused approach.
You must demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet customer requirements. While you will be assigned a specific geographical route, you may be required to change routes occasionally to meet business needs.
You will also be responsible for scanning and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met. The role demands the ability to make sound decisions and perform well under pressure.
Job Qualification
Full UK driving license
Experience in a multi-drop courier role would be preferred, but not essential
Security Training will be given when required
