Summary
Currently, the cardiac team undertakes 1800 adults and 400 paediatric procedures per year across our five cardiac theatres. You must be accredited by the Society of Perfusionists of Great Britain & Ireland and registered with the College of Clinical Perfusionists of Great Britain & Ireland. This role attracts an additional Recruitment and Retention Premium (see details below), a contribution to relocation costs for eligible candidates as well as an exceptional NHSP rate for additional shifts. You will be expected to deliver high quality care within the framework of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be well supported by an experienced inter-professional team. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out various administrative duties associated with the role and will be delegated additional responsibilities as required. Full participation in the department on-call rota is essential.
