West Calder High School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Pupil Support Worker.
The successful candidate will have the necessary experience to assist in taking forward the vision of the school in order to support our young people.
West Calder High School is a non-denominational comprehensive school offering our students a progressive, relevant, challenging and enjoyable curriculum with opportunities for personalisation and choice. Current roll is in the region of 1160 students.

Pupil support workers are required to work towards the minimum qualification within 5 years of taking up post e.g. SVQ2 (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
