About the Role
- Executing daily delivery operations to supply depots and commercial retail locations while upholding high standards of safety, accuracy and customer service.
- Deliver excellent customer service by engaging professionally with customers at each delivery point, ensuring a positive representation of the company.
- Leverage a handheld PDA to complete paperwork seamlessly and efficiently.
- Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
- Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
- Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count.
- Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
