We’re looking for a confident and experienced bar professional to independently run a stylish converted horse box bar at the Kingston Maurward College Horse Trials in Dorchester. This is a great opportunity to work a vibrant outdoor event, taking full ownership of the bar setup for the day.
The RoleYou’ll be the sole bartender on site, responsible for:

Serving a full range of drinks including gin & tonics, cocktails (with spec sheets provided), lager, cider, wine, prosecco and soft drinks

Keeping the bar clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout the day

Handling both cash and card payments confidently

Following all hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations
The Ideal Candidate-
Previous bar experience is essential – especially in a solo or small team environment

Able to work confidently and independently

Over 18 years old (due to licensing requirements)

Friendly, organised, and customer-focused

Comfortable following cocktail recipes with provided guidance

Reliable and able to arrange their own travel to and from the event location
