We are excited to offer this post to support both our patients and clinical teams by providing a Hospital at Night service. The role will include duties as requested by a registered practitioner and the successful applicants will have the competencies to deliver the role.
To respond to clinical tasks required to support patient at night
To promote and deliver patient centred care aligned with the Trust vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy.
To provide the highest standard of safe, effective and compassionate care through the effective use of evidence based practice.
To support a continuously improving service in line with the clinical governance framework, Trust objectives and the NHS performance framework.
The post holder will have the appropriate level of skill, knowledge and competence to meet the requirements of this role.
Operate within their own competence level.
Respond to any area where support is required.
To provide support to the multi disciplinary team.
Escalate accordingly to the Clinical Site Manager as indicated.

Establishes and maintains effective communication with individuals, the wider nursing team, and other health professionals regarding patient conditions, care planning and treatments.
Be competent in cannulation, phlebotomy and cannulation skills.
Work within boundaries of competencies.
Escalate any concerns where attainment of the required interventions is beyond competency levels.
