Summary
We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join an early years team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young children at a crucial stage of their development in a warm and stimulating learning environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years provision
Assist in planning and leading age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play
Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and assessments
Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:
Have experience working with children in an early years setting
Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or be working towards one)
Be patient, caring, and responsive to the individual needs of young children
Be a team player with strong communication and organisational skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
Be passionate about early childhood development and committed to promoting the highest standards of care and learning
