Summary
Personal care assistant required for young male
Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who is non-verbal, and has autism, epilepsy and Sotos Syndrome.
Our client’s son requires support changing clothes after school, personal care and feeding using PEG tube. Training will be provided. He will also need assistance getting in and out of his wheelchair. The role will also consist of keeping our client’s son company for the duration of his feed, talking to him, watching television together, playing and singing.
The successful candidate should be bubbly, fun, proactive and an open-minded learner.
The role is 4.5 hours per week, paid at £12.21ph. The hours are 4pm to 5.30pm, 3 days per week. The role is based in Scunthorpe.
Experience is desired but not essential.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
