Summary
The objectives of this post in neonatology include the development of: a) Understanding of the monitoring and management of respiratory support in neonates. b) Competence in the practical procedures required in critical ill neonates c) Competence in the management of fluid and nutritional support for critically ill neonates. d) Experience in dealing with the relatives of neonates with chronic illness. e) Competence in the resuscitation of term and preterm infants. f) Competence in the assessment of the normal newborn infant and of common minor problems. g) Provision of appropriate support for junior members of the medical team h) Leadership skills
