Summary
As above requirements in main duties of job and as follows: Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse, participates in the delivery of planned programs of care. Assisting in the receiving of patients. Assists in the collection of patients from the ward. Assists with the checking and preparation of instruments and equipment. Unpacks and records arrival of equipment. Supplying the surgical team with items as instructed. Assisting the scrub team in gowning and gloving. Counts swabs with a registered nurse Assisting in correctly dispatching specimens as instructed. Be aware of competence and ask for assistance as required.
