Sous Chef – £38,941 per annum (£18.65 per hour)
Canary Wharf | Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 | 40 hours/week + Paid Overtime

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team in the heart of Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a strong restaurant background who is ready to step into a leadership role within a professional and forward-thinking kitchen.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team

  • Run the pass during busy service

  • Assist with menu development focused on seasonality and sustainability

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation

  • Support events and functions with paid overtime at 1.5x hourly rate

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a restaurant kitchen

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Confidence in running service and mentoring junior chefs

  • A passion for fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients

The Details:
  • Salary: £38,941 annually (£18.65/hour)

  • Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday only

  • Schedule: 07:30 – 16:00 (no evenings or weekends)

  • Extras: Paid overtime for events and functions at 1.5x hourly rate
