Summary

A Vacancy at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective, and timely transition of adult IBD patients to the cost-saving biosimilar. This role is integral to our Trust’s financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the end-to-end delivery of the biosimilar switch project.
• Developing detailed timelines and creating reusable project templates for future switches.
• Managing complex patient and provider queries independently.
• Overseeing the administrative processes related to prescription transfer, including resolving failed switches.
• Educating and supporting the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure seamless communication and implementation.
• Collaborating with homecare providers to support patient transitions and troubleshoot logistics.
What We’re Looking For
• A qualified, registered pharmacy technician with experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Confidence in handling sensitive patient communications and troubleshooting medication issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
