We are working with a progressive and inclusive secondary school in Coventry to recruit a Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Physics graduate seeking practical classroom experience before pursuing teacher training or further postgraduate study.

Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant – Why You Should Apply:

Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 Physics and general science
• Assisting with lab equipment preparation and safety protocols
• Delivering small group and 1:1 academic interventions
• Helping to explain complex physical concepts clearly and engagingly
• Working with science teachers to enhance lesson content
• Promoting curiosity and critical thinking in Physics
• Getting involved in extracurricular STEM or science club activities

Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or above in Physics or a closely related subject
• A genuine enthusiasm for Physics and scientific education
• Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools)
• Excellent subject knowledge and a methodical approach to learning
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to student progress
• Ambition to pursue a teaching career or further academic pathway
