Summary

We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 2/3 Teacher to join a friendly and forward-thinking team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT who is eager to make a positive impact on children at a key stage in their learning journey.

Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the varied needs of the class

  • Ensure continuity and progression across the two year groups

  • Foster a supportive, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote its values

Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and/or lower Key Stage 2

  • Be confident in adapting teaching to meet the needs of mixed-age classes

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.

  • Be reflective, proactive, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
