Summary
We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 2/3 Teacher to join a friendly and forward-thinking team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT who is eager to make a positive impact on children at a key stage in their learning journey.
Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the varied needs of the class
Ensure continuity and progression across the two year groups
Foster a supportive, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote its values
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and/or lower Key Stage 2
Be confident in adapting teaching to meet the needs of mixed-age classes
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.
Be reflective, proactive, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
