Are you a natural connector with a passion for building lasting relationships? We're seeking a Senior Solution Design Manager who
will thrive in an environment where collaboration and strong partnerships are at the heart of everything we do. You will play a
pivotal role in translating our strategic ambitions into tangible, market-leading offerings that drive significant value for our
clients and differentiate our service portfolio. Our biggest differentiator is the breath of our supply chain service
capabilities, we’re looking for someone to use ‘technical expertise in supply chain design, strong leadership skills, to
collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Here at Unipart we don’t just have a way of working, we have The Unipart Way. It allows everyone in our team to pursue their own
personal and professional goals to a world class level, through Unipart's ‘From Gate to Great’ training and development program.
As Senior Solution Design Manager you will act as a critical bridge between our core sector strategies, our seven capabilities and
tangible solution offerings. You will conceptualise, develop, and "productise" repeatable, scalable, and best-in-class end to end
supply chain solution frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple clients.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
* Lead the end-to-end design of complex, multi-faceted supply chain solutions
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of solution designers, promoting a high-performance environment
* Proactively identify and integrate technologies to create competitive advantage
* Analyse client requirements and data to develop tailored and optimized solutions
* Develop detailed solution design documentation, including process flows and specifications
* Evaluate and select appropriate supply chain technologies and systems
* Act as a primary client contact, building relationships and managing expectations throughout the design process
* Manage the full lifecycle of solution design projects, from planning to closure
* Coordinate with internal teams (operations, IT, engineering) to ensure successful solution implementation
* Provide direct support during implementation, including configuration, testing, and training
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in solution design methodologies and explore new technologies
About You
We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!
* Ability to build credible and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, financial modelling, and performance metrics
* Extensive Solution Design Experience in a 3PL / Logistics environment on a global scale
* Data analysis – manipulate large volumes of data into presentable formats
* A problem-solving mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure
* Self starter with an inquisitive and curious mind
Our recruitment and selection process has been developed to ensure that it is consistent, fair and provides equality of
opportunity - all selection decisions are based solely on technical and behavioural competencies. We do not discriminate on the
grounds of race, colour, or nationality, ethnic or national origins, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital or
civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, disability, religion or belief, age or any other current or future protected
characteristic as defined in the current Equality Act of England and Wales. As an organisation we also promote an environment
which encourages diversity of characteristics and thought, where you feel included, safe and confident to be the best version of
yourself and do your best work every day.
