Summary

As an Apprentice Gardener, you’ll work alongside experienced horticulture professionals to help maintain our parks, green spaces, sports facilities, cemeteries and playgrounds. This hands-on role is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience while studying towards a Level 2 Horticulture Apprenticeship.

You will learn to:
• Maintain shrubs, trees, flower beds, herbaceous plants
• Use horticultural tools and machinery safely and efficiently
• Assist with turf care, weeding, and pest control
• Support seasonal planting projects and community initiatives
• Work in a team to keep public green spaces and playgrounds tidy and welcoming

• Willingness to learn and work in all weather conditions
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
• No previous experience required—just a passion to grow!
