Night Security Worker



Job Type - Permanent/Part-Time

Location -Grantham
Hours - 35 hours per week
Salary - £23,359.87 (including £1300 Unsociable Hours Benefit pro rata)

Additional hours might be available as we run 9 x 24/7 services across the county giving you the opportunity to act as cover across the other services when needed, for example to cover sickness and training sessions.

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and motivated individuals who will provide night time security to Young People.
The successful Night Security Manager will need experience of managing overnight security, in a residential housing project for excluded groups, including vulnerable/young people. Experience of monitoring CCTV systems and managing health and safety issues is also desirable.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing health and safety issues and awareness of the issues faced by excluded groups in a supported housing setting. You will require basic IT skills, particularly using the Microsoft package and emails.


Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



· Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the housing service and respond to faults as discovered.

· Patrol the geographical location to maximise the safety and security of the building and service users.

· Monitor access to the services and visitors and log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.

· Monitor CCTV systems throughout your shift.

· Escalate incidents to on call services where needed.

· Maintain written records e.g. incidents, handover, support or risk plans.
