A opportunity to build a commercial career within the food industry working with retailer and key customers.
We are working with a great Food business based in Glasgow who are looking to expand and grow the commercial Team.
The role of Commercial Executive will bring a commercially minded individual into the growing team to contribute to the strategic direction and sales growth of the business. It will need a proactive self-starter who believes they can thrive in a fast-paced environment with great team support around them.
Key Responsibilities for Commercial Executive:
You will work closely with the commercial team to support the management of major retail accounts. This will include tenders, costings, contracts, customer portals, and administrative support. Support with pricing strategy, commercial planning, and customer negotiations. As the role develops you will take ownership of a portfolio of smaller accounts, and build and maintain relationships with key retailer contacts.
To be successful in the role you will….
Have a commercially driven mindset with strong communication and organisational skills
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confidence in analysing and reporting on sales data
Comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external partners
Ideally, you will have developed your experience within the food industry or a related sector that said, we are also open to a graduate who is interested in a commercial career and has a natural passion or interest in the food industry.
There is the possibility of flexible working with one day a week at home, but you must be commutable to Glasgow.
